50 Things to do When You're Bored


Here are some ways to kick start your day if your bored!

Have a piano lesson.
Play some 1980's music really loud and sing at the top of your voice. Who cares if your neighbours complain, it's a one off!

Indulge in a guilty pleasure of your choice.
Invite a friend round for a bottle of wine and a takeaway.
Buy a unicycle.
Go for a manicure/pedicure.
Look through an old photo album on your own or with friends.
Fill a blow up pool outside with hot water and bubbles.
Go for a stroll around your local park.
Watch Mamma Mia sing-a-long version.
Write a children's story from scratch including illustrations.
Book yourself in for a spa day.
Have a look around some charity shops and see if you can find any vintage clothing.
Write a whole page on why you are so wonderful.
Visit a local museum/art gallery etc. and take lots of photos.
Write a short story.
Tell your friends why they are so important to you.
Write a to do list.
Plan a birthday party for a friend or someone in your family.
Do aerobics on your living room floor to your fav dvd.
Make your own pinata.
Make cookies in the shape of your name.
Wear 3D glasses for a day.
Go by yourself to a fast food restaurant and take home.
Put on a fake accent and use it all day.
Make a time capsule and bury it in your garden, only to be opened in 50 years time!
Go swimming at your local pool and take all the inflatables you have.
Make home made smoothies with fresh fruit and yoghurt. Invite your friends round to share the fun!
Camp out in your garden for a night!
Take a nap.
Spend a least 1 hour writing down all your lifelong ambitions.
Grap some friends and play hide and seek around your house and garden.
Take an old vase and re-model it using sequins, paint, bottons, tissue paper, etc.
Take one of your favourite songs and change the lyrics to whatever you want them to be and present it on your wall in a frame.

Volunteer at a local social group.
Send fan mail to someone you admire.
Offer to petsit/babysit for someone you know, just to help them out.
Dye your hair a colour you've always wanted to have.
Play chess against one of your friends.
Go to a really expensive shoe shop and try on the most expensive pair of shoes. Alternately, go to a really expensive clothes shop and spend hours trying all their clothes on.

Learn a new word from the dictionary.
Record a wacky voicemail.
Clean up something.
Go see a panto you've been meaning to watch.
Organise a day out at the local amusement park with friends or family.
Buy a plant for your room.
Plan your next holiday.
Make the hugest chocolate sundae you've ever eaten and enjoy whilst watching Sex in the City.
Customise one of your clothes that you don't wear anymore with sequins, buttons, broches, studs, etc.
Read a steamy romance book whilst tucked up in bed.
